Football Star Welsh Athlete Ramsey Increases Bounty for Missing Canine in Mexican Territory to $20,000
Welsh football star Aaron Ramsey has boosted the incentive for leads about his lost pet named Halo to $$20k.
The former Premier League club Arsenal and Cardiff City midfielder, who currently is with the Mexican club Pumas in Mexico City, revealed that Halo was observed in San Miguel de Allende, located in the Guanajuato region.
Halo, who vanished on October 9th, was had on a tracking device, and the footballer shared a Google maps location of where she was last seen.
"Any sort of information regarding our beloved Halo please contact us. Significant reward for locating her. We are all hoping she is safe and comes home with us quickly," Ramsey wrote on Instagram.
Initial Offer and Emotional Appeals
The footballer initially disclosed that his dog had disappeared a fortnight back and has since posted multiple photos of the adored canine on Instagram.
A $$10k reward was originally offered, but with absence of information on the dog's whereabouts after a week, Ramsey and his family doubled the reward.
"We just want our pet back," he stated in a further plea on social media after the elderly pet went missing.
A recent photograph post is a black and white photo of the beagle napping, its head lying in the bend of Ramsey's elbow, with the description: "How I wish to hold you one last time sweet Halo."
Family's Concerns and Background
The footballer has also circulated a message from his wife Mrs. Ramsey on social media indicating they have some "important concerns" regarding the event and are concerned the family "could possibly not get clarity".
"We still have not located our dog. I don't think we will ever," the spouse's post read.
The Welsh captain became part of Mexico's top-flight team Pumas UNAM in recent months and had his first appearance in Liga MX in the eighth month.
The Caerphilly-born footballer is the pioneering well-known UK player to play in the Liga MX.
